Is anybody else as obsessed with Team, Royals, and Tennis Court as I am?! I swear I listen to it on repeat FOREVER! That, and of course the new AVICII ALBUM WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY PURE PERFECTION IN AN ALBUM! But back to Lorde, well we definitely know why she is the Queen of Pop, because this album was great! Though I couldn't get attached to every song, I felt that they were pretty unique and stayed true to Lorde's style. So therefore, I give the album a rating in the 3 range out of 5! So let's discuss and review my favourites, thoughts, and of course, an ultimate review of the album.
I love just how all of Lorde's songs are so relaxing yet so pumpingly exciting! From one second, you are just swaying and singing to pumping out and screaming, "I WOULD LIKE IT IF YOU STAYYYYYY!" I love how that style continued throughout her songs and I love how I got to experience so many new songs that I hadn't heard of before!
Aside from her famous songs, I was glad that I was able to experience some new ones! The songs I really liked that I found out on this album is 400 Lux. It's so sweet and is different from her other songs. It's just so gushy without being gushy and you can just belt out to it, CAN WE ALL AGREE?! Ribs was interesting and has an interesting start to it. It was quite cool, it was a bit faster and exciting and left you in a bit of suspense. Buzzcut Season was interesting and I loved how it got faster towards the chorus. Still Sane was a bit more edgy and I liked it! White Teeth Teens had a cool beat and was a bit slower than the rest. A World Alone, seriously who does her echo-ing?! It's amazing! No Better had a bit of a hip-hop feel to it, just a bit aside from the alternative music genre that this album is in. I liked it! Next up is Bravado, and I liked the message of this song, along with all the others of course! Million Dollar Bills was also a bit edgy, and it really showed the pain and anguish and it was really interesting! Biting Club was softer, and had an interesting beat! Swingin Party was like the name, a lot of Lorde-amaze in it!

The Love Club was probably one of the best of the albums, I really just loved everything about it! I loved the rising and falling of her voice - it was just perfection! Aside from my other favorites, this is probably one of my "new" favorites of the album! I can't believe that I have never heard of it before! It had a variety of tempos and the echo of her voice was so amazing and it was just PERFEEEEEEEECTION. XD
The one thing that I have to say I absolutely love about all of the songs is the positive message she spreads. In each song, it's something about teamwork, love, appreciation, and enjoying life. It's so great that she's able to do it in such an interesting way and I mean, of course, THAT STELLAR VOICE. XD But real to the real, I think that's so important and I love that she has the courage to sing what she wants to and spread this wonderful message!
The only reason for my 3 of 5 range rating is I felt that though a lot of songs sent a powerful message, they only had one or two unique changes in them and I couldn't get attached to all of then. Aside from my favorites, like Team, Tennis Court, Royals, and a new favorite, The Love Club, I felt the others were pretty good but didn't have what I could get attached to, even after listening to it repeatedly. So overall, thanks for reading, and have an amazing day of music! xD
