SIPPIN' SATURDAY: Mochas and Lattes and Machhiatos, OH MY!

OH MY GOSH! XD I've been trying so many different types of coffee drinks over the past few weeks that I've really been wanting to share with you! From Starbucks to Tim Hortons to McDonalds,' I'm going to tell you what you NEED to try if you're um, just as obsessed with coffee as I am. I'm not exactly sure if it's a bad habit, BUT I FRICKING LOVE COFFEE. So much, so um, let's get into it?!

I've never tried a Starbucks drink before, because I'm definitely all for a French Vanilla from Tim Hortons ANY day. But I've heard amazing things about the drinks from Starbucks, and I finally tried one! I absolutely loved hazelnut ANYTHING, so I decided to go safe and try the Hazelnut Macchiato. When I first tried it, the frothy-ness and taste of hazelnut was just so AMAZING! It was a bit bitter, as machhiatos are, and well, coffee in general, is supposed to be, but I felt that the sweetness from my fave, hazelnut, really balanced it out. And when I got to the bottom, the sweetness came back from what had melted! SO GOING TO TRY AGAIN!

Next is the McDonalds' Toasted Marshmallow Mocha. Now well, I don't know about you guys, BUT I LOVE HOT CHOCOLATE. So well, a HOT CHOCOLATE TASTE + COFFEE seems to me like absolute perfection! I had a buy one, get one free coupon as well, so I decided to put my thinking cap on and get two small drinks for the price of one and put it in one cup so I could enjoy a very large coffee drink. Well, I realized why I always buy small and medium coffee, because I COULDN'T FINISH IT. (If you guys can, let me know in the comments because seriously - bladder control much?!) Now the top of it was absolute whipped cream AMAZE but the syrup just felt a bit nauseating. Also, maybe the marshmallows melted fast, because I didn't taste any and um, you know, the drink's name. Now I don't know if it was just me, but maybe because it was so large that when I got the middle, it also got a bit nauseating and I couldn't finish the last few sips.

Now, I am a person who loves super-sweet coffee. But I'm starting to handle small amounts of bitter-y coffee because these coffee-geniuses just know how to balance! I mean, seriously - CHOCOLATE FROTHY-WHIPPED-CREAM-NESS?! So I decided to try the Chocolate Dream Latte, a new addition to the Tim Hortons family. I absolutely loved the goodness of this -  the warmth and love -  and OH GOSH! Though, I can say that the chocolate-y goodness did melt a bit fast, but overall, I really loved the taste of this and was definitely a nice try!
