Update! + Future Posts, Exciting Announcements, and More TFiOS Talk!

So summer is officially here and I need to update you guys on what's been going on! So as you know, TFiOS has literally destroyed me and basically limited my ability to do normal things. Side note, if you haven't read it yet, DO SO IMMEDIATELY. It is full of everything I've ever wanted in a novel and I think it needs to be shared with the entire world.

And on that side note, I am definitely wanting to do a three-part post series on all things TFiOS -  one on the book, one on the movie, and one on the soundtrack. I think that this will definitely be able to heal my feelings as I can just express my thoughts and loves of the book and movie.

I actually just saw the movie and literally the second half of the movie, I just couldn't deal and basically cried it out so much so that I couldn't exactly hear what was going on and had to shut up. I try to remember the good in the movie - the lessons taught and the effect of Gus' life on Hazel - but it's definitely hard. More discussions when we get to that post - so watch out for it soon!

So I hope you guys are excited for that - and I have TONS of ideas for posts in the future so I hope you are as excited as me! I am so excited (Aria - stop reading and grab a thesaurus) for summer reading, even though TFiOS has kind of had an emotional turmoil set upon my reading, hopefully I can slowly heal. I swear, I had a bunch of books picked out this summer to read already and I have no idea what to do now but hopefully with time this will be all good!

I hope you're excited for the new posts and a future three-part book post, so keep looking out and the summer will be spent with book reviews, movie reviews, random tags, and so much more.

Also sorry for the lack of visual content here, but I just wanted a good post solely on the feels and the future!

Hope you're having a great start to the summer!

DROWNING IN A PILE OF MY OWN TEARS... ONLY MEANS ONE THING

Well when I said I'd come back, I had a post in my mind about Avicii's "True" album that just made me absolutely love him more than I already did and I wanted to share that with you. That was supposed to be the post coming soon. I was so excited to write it and share how I loved every single song on that album, how it kept me from my audiobooks because I've been only listening to that album through Hoopla, and how I've just about memorized the lyrics to all of these songs.

Then I started to read "The Fault in Our Stars."

I think you know where this is going.

I was about some into the book when I naively thought, hey, what a great post, you know -  since the movie's coming, I could talk about my thoughts, etc.

Yes, well, I didn't realize the extent of my emotional turmoil as I finished the book... and cried a pile of tears that literally broke my heart.

I can't even talk about this book right now, my thoughts are jumbled, and OH MY GOSH. This book is just

beautiful,

thoughtful,

and everything I've ever wanted.

I had such high expectations for this book and I can tell you I don't cry easily. I think I've cried once. But I never cried so much from being sad and happy at the same time with TFiOS.

Oh gosh, if I watch this movie I will probably curl up on the floor and just sob.

Sorry for this jumbled post that's full of grammatical errors, I'm sure - a full review in debt.

Okay, I feel the sting of tears. Bye for now.
