This Monday was a very emotional day for all of us Teen Wolf fans. Most of us knew ahead of time that one of the main characters was going to die, and we all speculated who it was going to be.
I was absolutely petrified whilst watching the episode, because I was informed that someone would die in that very episode. I was restless and my mind kept wondering who I was going to lose, because I'm quite emotionally attached to this show. At first I thought it was going to be one of the twins because they were poisoned by wolfsbane, and were bleeding black blood and all. But then, the battle scene occurred. I watched as Isaac was repeatedly slashed by the Oni. I was sure I was going to lose him...until Allison was stabbed.
I was in shock.
It took me a while to react, but soon enough, there were tears streaming down my face. It's been days since that episode has aired, and I still get sad about. Now let's take a look at why.
Allison Argent started off of as just a love interest. She kept Scott sane, and helped him deal with becoming a werewolf. She was his anchor. However, we got to see her become something more. We saw her grow stronger and more independent. Allison had her own storylines, and arcs. I loved watching her grow into herself, and take on a more important role in the supernatural storylines, and the show in general.

They helped each other become stronger, and were truly a beautiful couple. I was heartbroken when they broke up, but understood that Allison needed time to re-evaluate herself due to the unfortunate circumstances.
lthough Allison was much more than just a love interest, one of the many things we loved about her character was her relationship with Scott. They were the cutest couple, and their scenes were adorable and heartwarming. They were genuine. It was sweet watching them fight for their love (her coming from a family of hunters, and him a werewolf caused plenty of drama) similarly to Romeo and Juliet, if you will. They helped each other become stronger, and were truly a beautiful couple. I was heartbroken when they broke up, but understood that Allison needed time to re-evaluate herself due to the unfortunate circumstances.
Allison: I can’t make you wait for me. I’m not going to do that.
Scott: You don’t have to, because I know we’re going to be together.
I was so emotionally depressed after this episode, repeatedly thinking about what could have been.
My all time favourite pairing is Scott and Allison (Scallison), but amidst my crying over Allison's death, I found the ability to feel awful for Isaac. His sort-of girlfriend die in his friend's arms, and he had to watch as she confessed her love. Allison did love Isaac, but not as much as she loved Scott--not yet.
Crystal Reed (who played Allison) was the one who decided to add in all of the "I love you's" because she felt that in the moment Allison truly loved Scott. I have no dispute over how she died in Scott's arms. I felt that it made the most sense that way because he was her first love. However, I do feel that Isaac deserved more than what he got. Allison didn't saying anything to him-didn't even acknowledge him. All Isaac got was Allison confessing her feelings to Scott. I support Scallison, but I love Isaac and my heart broke for him. His girlfriend died in front him, and he didn't get to say anything to her.
He had no one and was alone. He had no family; just Scott and Allison. The circumstances surrounding Allison's death probably made him feel just as bad as her death itself. She died protecting him. She died for him. And then she died in Scott's arms telling him that she loved him. Scott who Isaac considers a brother. My heart aches for him.

Let's not forget Lydia who just lost her best, and only friend.
Lydia had taken an immediate liking to Allison. She had taken her under her wing, and made her feel welcome when she first arrived at Beacon Hills. They'd gone through a lot together; from Allison's pissed-off hunter arch, to Lydia's banshee freakouts. They may have had their arguments, and Lydia may have sometimes seemed like she wasn't paying attention to what Allison was saying, but she really did love her.
Allison was Lydia's only female friend and now she's all alone. Well I'm sure Scott and Stiles will do their best to make her feel comfortable, and to help her deal with being a banshee (apparently season four is focused on her), but it's not going to be the same. There is the possibility that Lydia will find a female companion in Kira but I doubt that they'll get on and become besties. (Not that Kira would be able to replace Allison anyways.)
Lydia knew that Allison was going to die. That's why she so desperately wanted them all to stay away and refrain from rescuing her. She held in her banshee scream, and hoped that she could keep Allison alive.
She couldn't save her best friend.

The last, but certainly the most affected person is Chris Argent. He's lost his entire family to the supernatural. His sister Kate had gone crazy and gotten herself killed trying to kill the innocent werewolves. His wife Victoria had gotten herself bitten by one and then killed herself to honour their family. Now he's lost his daughter. That has to be pain all on its own.
Chris had told Allison to stay at home and wait for him. He had called her, but she was in a rush and didn't listen. She hurried off to join her friends in the fight, and her forthcoming death. Chris had arrived just in time to see Allison get stabbed, and greet her death.
He's all alone now, and has no reason to stay in Beacon Hills, but he might. He might to stay to protect Allison's friends, because that's what she would have wanted.

Let us honour Allison Argent, who died acting accordingly to the new honour code she had created.
She died protecting someone who could no longer protect themselves.

So this is a really long post, but I hope that makes up for the huge delay in the upload of this.
Now let us brace ourselves for the final death of the season that will occur tonight.
